New Google+ Share Button Now Integrated
by Jon West on May 15, 2012 6:42 pm
In case you haven’t heard, Google recently released a new ‘Share’ button for its social network, Google Plus. This button was designed to work more like the Facebook Share button, where the original Google+ button was more akin to Facebook’s Like button.
Here’s a quick look at the new Google button:

If you’re using our general sharing button, it’s been added automatically so there’s no need to update. However, if you want an individual button as pictured above, you’ll need to login to your admin panel to get the code.

On our sharing panel, you’ll find it under ‘More’:

If you don’t have AddShoppers on your site yet, then sign up now and you’ll have access to the new Google Plus Share button, as well as Facebook “Want” and more. Oh, and our powerful social analytics of course.

3dcart Integrates with AddShoppers
by Jon West on March 29, 2012 6:38 pm
Tamarac, FL (PRWEB) March 29, 2012 — Ecommerce software provider 3dcart has teamed up with AddShoppers (http://www.addshoppers.com) to integrate a next-generation social sharing platform for online retailers. AddShoppers is an ecommerce-focused social sharing application that empowers retailers with simple ways to increase sharing and track ROI with social analytics.
Hundreds of retailers already leverage AddShoppers to integrate robust social marketing strategies into how they promote their online stores. By placing the AddShoppers buttons on their retail websites, online stores can gain higher margins, more traffic, better customer engagement and reduced cart abandonment. AddShoppers was the first social sharing platform to release Facebook Open Graph enabled “Want” and “Own” buttons.
To measure how social media impacts a retailer’s business, AddShoppers tracks when a customer shares a product, recording how many friends or followers clicked the link and how many people actually purchased the good as a result of the share. That way, online retailers can make sense of their social media marketing and learn from the information.
“Using social media to promote your store is crucial to an online marketing plan—but measuring the impact of social media on your business is a relatively new and desperately needed development,” said 3dcart CTO Jimmy Rodriguez. “Built specifically for ecommerce, AddShoppers is an excellent addition to any online store built on 3dcart.”
Influencers—major social media players with large followings—are simple to track with AddShoppers, giving retailers the opportunity to encourage positive behavior by rewarding brand advocates with discounts and coupons. The application is scalable for any size store, making it practical and accessible to nearly all of 3dcart’s 15,000+ customers.
“Building a quick integration with 3dcart will open our product up to a whole new audience of online retailers,” said Jon West, CEO and co-founder of AddShoppers. “We’re focused on expanding to some of the biggest influencers in the world of ecommerce, and 3dcart fits the bill with an expansive, easy-to-use offering.”
Free to the retailer, setting up AddShoppers for a 3dcart store requires less than 10 minutes of time. For more information, visit http://www.addshoppers.com.
